Iam new to the RV world and just got my first ever rv. Coachman Catalina 184bhs by forest river. I have concens about my tires because the RV has a weight limit but the tire weight rating is less than the RV weight rating seems a little crazy to me and I hear the term china bomb . So what is the best tire to run on this RV. Thank you

I have gotten between 290 and 340 miles on a tank.. the 290 was a very high altitude. the 340 was at sea level. running average 65 mph.

I'm like you I can't leave anything alone if I see it. Everyone says leave it stock I'm like no way. I'm looking at campers an my first thought is to change rim an tires. You wanna ruin your Vaca ..change a tire on side of highway.

That seems like a pretty small opening! Isn't it recommending to be 12in wide and 14in tall? I have seen some small round openings, specifically so bigger ones (e.g ducks) can't get in.

Hey friend, thanks for the heads up on this trailer. I'm Norm, I have been looking at the FSX 290RTK model. You got thinking about the safety issues and keeping up with the cooling system.

Can we hook it up to power if we dont want to use batteries? It gets below freezing sometimes so I worry the batteries would fail in such cold weather.

My thoughts on these type of doors is that it would be best to use the timer option rather than the light option because if there was any kind of light such as high beams from a car or a flashlight from a neighbor that the door would open at night and would allow predators to enter. It happened on the 'el cheapo' ones that I purchased (2 for $46 on Amazon). Just a thought.

Great video. I have the 2022 FOREST RIVER RV WILDWOOD FSX 280RTX Platinum and on my maiden voyage it literally fail apart. Like you, I love the floorplan and the trailer, but the quality of these things is just absurd. Our slide out somehow keeps jumping its tracks. When it is repaired we test at the dealer and it works fine. Then as soon as we take it out to a destination, it acts up again and gets out of its track and starts chewing up the gears. I even use a level to make sure it is levelled properly. Only thing I can think of is that minor bumps are causing it to bounce out of its track. Had to fix water leaks around the pump and the check valve etc. The worst part was the "AccessiBelly" panels underneath the trailer all blew off somewhere on my road trip. In asking the MFG about this, they simply acknowledged the issue as being known and didn't seem to care that these large pieces of fiberglass like material was being slung off their trailers while in motion. Guess they will care when one hits a pedestrian, motorcyclist, or causes an accident and they get sued. Thanks again for the suggestions on the wheels and tires.

Great video! Love the shelf. We had some trouble with a rodent chewing wires. We have it fixed but some of the lights still aren’t working. We were wondering if there is another fuse box on the trailer other than the one under sink cupboard. The lights over the table work and inside the man’s door work. All the other light you push to turn on are not working! Any suggestions?

Socks and some water to start off with in the bag and I would throw a bic lighter in the every day carry part

What brackets did you use for your lights that work with the Rally dash?

How did you install the plastic? Did you just do one peice at an angle to the duct? My 260rt has one duct hole and its across from the fan

I’m going to buy this trailer but it’s the 2022. Your input eased my mind and if the ‘22 has the same issues your video will help me address those.

My get home bag consists of a few snacks and a couple bottles of water. That along with my edc will get me home within 30 miles. Im not stopping for anything until i get home to my family. Thats the only that would be on my mind.
